Glutathione has many possible health effects from lyme disease to antioxidant properties. The ones that interest me are the anti-inflammation properties which can have positive impact on cognitive function and increase general energy levels while also helping with toxins. There are reported side effects like cramps which are not ideal.

L-Glutathione was recommended to me for my autoinflammatory skin condition (Hidradenitis Suppurativa), along with L-Lysine. I had been taking L-Lysine for about a week prior to starting this Glutathione and was doing just fine, so I incorporated this Glutathione supplement. I did begin to see a huge difference after just 8 days of taking both the L-Glutathione and the L-Lysine. There have been less flare ups. The multiple flare ups that I was suffering from due to a new birth control I had started finally started to go down.The negative thing about it is that it did give me tummy aches. My entire digestive system is very sensitive, particularly after my cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal surgery).I stopped taking the Glutathione to see if I could pinpoint what was causing the tummy aches. My stomach eased off after stopping the Glutathione... So, it is unfortunate, but I had to choose not to continue on this supplement due to this.If your stomach can take it, then by all means, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it is just not for me.

Great supplement for ridding of free radicals. The purpose of the liposomal base is to increase the absorption of the active ingredient versus taking L-glutathione by itself. While this says 600mg, it is actually 300mg pet capsule and thus 2 capsules per day, which make 60 capsules last one month. Not bad as supplements should not be taken continuously, they should be taken for a period, then stopped, then started back and so on.The taste is funky, but everything that starts with an L- usually is. But the taste does not last, it goes away quickly.

I like that this is made in Canada and has vegetable capsules that are small and easy to swallow. There is no odour or taste, and no aftertaste. I have no idea yet what the long term benefits are of these antioxidants but if you're looking for a product like this these are a good one!
