The product definitely has an effect, but it made me sweat and urinate a lot (I kept waking up in the middle of the night). As such, it's not for me.The capsules have no taste, no smell and are easy to swallow.
I have just started taking this supplement, but it has passed my first test. Whenever I try a new supplement I am waiting to see if it upsets my stomach, or makes me feel weird, that sort of thing. So far so good with this one, I haven't had any bad effects for the two days I've taken it. If I have any further observations I'll come back and add them here.
Pygeum is a great supplement for men, whether you have problems already or just want to take preventative steps to stay healthier for longer like I do.This is a pretty nicely dosed supplement, easy to swallow pills, has a nice dark bottle to prevent light degradation, and is manufactured in Canada! So you can feel safer knowing this should be a high quality product.Worthwhile to try out if you can!
I have been taking pygeum by another brand for quite a while. this Herba supplement is 200mg standardized to 13% active ccompound which is quite decent.I'm a 48 year old man and this is the time of life where you really need to think about prostate health. I am only taking this herba pygeum at the moment and I will know if this is less effective than what I am used to by frequency of urination and incomplete voiding etc...This is an equivalent strength to what I am used to so I really should not notice any interruption in my daily routine. As it stands, I have no reason to doubt the effectiveness of this product at this point.
When men get to a certain age, there comes a need to ensure that the prostate is taken care of, not just to avoid cancer but also to avoid a slowdown in urination. Prior to taking this, I had been using Saw Palmetto for at least the last seven years after going through a round of cancer. Now, after four weeks of using this, I can't say that I sense any difference one way or the other.👀 On the Saw Palmetto label, it states that three capsules should be taken once per day. I've had my holistic partitioner test it, and one capsule per day is what I need to be taking. It does have a Health Canada NPN number, which is a good thing, and the label states that it is "prepared" in Canada, but there is no listing of where the Pygeum is sourced. As with any supplement, I urge people to seek out a holistic practitioner and have them test the supplements they are taking or are thinking of taking to make sure that, first of all, you need them and then how many per day are needed. There is a very big difference in pricing between the two products, with this costing more than double and each capsule containing less than half the active ingredients, yet the capsules are the same size. Since I have not noticed any change in these last four weeks, in my mind, I can't justify the cost difference. So far, this has shown to be a good product, I've had no adverse reactions, but I cannot say that it works any better than the Saw Palmetto option which is substantially less expensive.
